• Day 1

  Riyadh...
  Riyadh Arrive at King Khalid International Airport. On arrival at Riyadh, you will be transferred to your hotel in Riyadh. Riyadh’s blend of medieval and millennial makes for a beguiling cultural union one where Arabia’s first roots can be traced, and where its bold future can be envisioned. The city’s fascinating, centuries-old history can be found within its atmospheric souqs, compelling museums and ancient architecture, but it’s also a modern metropolis, with glittering high-rises and a burgeoning contemporary art scene. Evening you have free time to explore Riyadh (on own).
• Day 2

  Riyadh...
  Riyadh Breakfast at your Hotel. We start our tour of mystic Riyadh by visiting the National Museum. The primary custodian of Saudi national heritage and culture, it is a place of learning and discovery that hosts a unique collection of artefacts and covers the whole history of the Arabian Peninsula right up to modern times. After that we head to the nearby Murrabba Palace that was the royal residence where King Abdulaziz hosted his court. The palace was named after its square 40 by 40 meter shape and is now one of the city’s main museums. Adjacent to the palace, a modern building hosts a collection of King Abdulaziz’s personal items which we will tour briefly. These places illustrate the heart of the birth of the Saudi nation. Afternoon we proceed into old Riyadh, starting in the downtown area, visiting the traditional Dirah Souq (famous for buying antique carpets and other useful Saudi heritage antiques). The walk is infused with the aromas of sandalwood fragrance and other scents of the orient. The Souq is known for men’s clothing and it is entertaining to watch the auction which takes place every Friday. After this, we visit the Masmak Fort which is just walking distance from the Old Souq and whose importance is linked to the creation of the 3rd Saudi Kingdom, the modern one we live in. The fortified palace was built during the reign of Abdullah bin Rashid in the year 1895 A.D. to serve as a military garrison for the army of Abdullah bin Rashid. His Majesty King Abdulaziz, the father of the today’s nation, captured the fort in 1902, marking the beginning of the reconquest of Arabia by the House of Saud. From there we will head to the famous Kingdom Tower and its Sky Bridge to see Riyadh from a panoramic viewpoint nearly 300 meters above the city.
• Day 3

  Riyadh Breakfast at the Hotel. Today morning we proceed for a Half Day Dirriyah Tour. AdDiriyah - the birthplace of the first Saudi Kingdom and listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn more about its history, its ancient trade, pilgrimage routes. We drive for 30 minutes to Ad-Diriyah, located on the western bank of the Wadi Hanifah, a dry riverbed where water flows only after big rains. Ad-Diriyah used to be the capital of the Najd (the central plateau of the Arabian Peninsula) from the 15th century until the beginning of the 18th century. It is the birthplace of the first Saudi Kingdom and its importance in the history of the Arabian Peninsula was highlighted when it was listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, in 2010, as the most brilliant example of Najdi architecture. The history of Ad-Diriyah goes back thousands of years as it was on an ancient trade and pilgrimage route, acting as a meeting point for those traveling to or from Asia, Africa, and Europe.As we drive towards the city, we have the opportunity to admire the rapid development of this cosmopolitan capital, planned by the Saudi government to become the biggest metropole in the Middle East in the next 10 years.
• Day 4

  AlUla...
  AlUla Breakfast at Hotel & transfer to Riyadh Airport for flight to AlUla (on own). On arrival at the AlUla Airport, clear the airport exit formalities and meet with your driver. You'll be transferred to your hotel in AlUla as per the transfer booked. Upon arrival check in to the hotel and relax. Standard check in time is between 14:00 Hrs to 15:00 Hrs. AlUla is one of the very few places in the world where one can experience the feeling of a true explorer charting the unknown. AlUla was historically located on the Incense route. It was the capital of the ancient Lihyanites (Dedanites) and is well known for archaeological remnants, some over 2000 years old. Later in the evening we proceed to Alula Old Town. With its labyrinth of tightly packed streets, hundreds of mudbrick buildings, and a colossal watchtower fort, Old Town is one of Northwest Arabia's most impressive heritage sites. Stroll among the ruins and you can feel a palpable sense of its history as a once-thriving settlement along ancient trading routes dating back almost a millennium. Walk along Old Town Market Street and follow in the millennia-old footsteps of the merchants who once traversed this ancient trade route. A historic marketplace still thrives here today, where you can browse everything from local handicrafts to elegant antiques, shop for souvenirs or just enjoy a freshly squeezed juice and a pleasant stroll. Later we proceed to visit Al Jadidah, a vibrant cultural hub, Al Jadidah is home to restaurants, shops and more. Beautiful murals bring an artistic touch to the pedestrian-friendly area, where the world’s largest hand-painted carpet lines the road for visitors. Find five distinct squares, Art Square, Gathering Square, Muayada Square, Qanat Square, and Oasis Square, each with their own unique atmosphere. Centrally located, Al Jadidah sits adjacent to AlUla Old Town, beautifully overlooking the AlUla Oasis.
• Day 5

  AlUlaa...
  AlUlaa Early Breakfast at Hotel. We set our for a half day excursion to Hegra. The UNESCOWorld Heritage Site, Hegra, is undoubtedly one of the most iconic sites within AlUla.We've redesigned our Hegra Tour to give you the freedom and flexibility to enjoy thismagical and monumental site at your own pace. Your journey starts at the South Gateentrance of Winter Park, where luxury air-conditioned coach buses will take you along aroute of five key points of interest at Hegra: Tomb of Lihyan Son of Kuza, Jabal AlBanat,Jabal Ithlib, Handcraft Pavilion, and Jabal AlAhmar. Later in the evening we proceed forexcursion to Elephant Rock. Set in the golden desert sands and climbing three storey’sinto the Saudi Arabian Sky, is the awe inspiring elephant rock (also known as Jabal Alfil).This iconic geological marvel is a wonder to see in the daylight or at nighttime. As the sun sets, colours dance in the sky and this epic elephant turns a magnificent shade of red. Capture the perfect picture or stay for late-night stargazing. Dotting the area surrounding this famous landmark, find sunken seating, great for families or groups of friends. Grab a juicy burger at SALT or your favourite warm drinks at Elephant Rock Café by Key. As night sets in, gather around a roaring fire pit to stay warm.

  AlUla After breakfast in the Hotel & depending on the timings of flight, guest will be transferred to airport for onward flight connection.
